Welcome to
Minecraft Club at George Mason University (GMMC)
We are the Minecraft people at George Mason University. We run Minecraft
servers for students, host events, and provide a community for Minecraft
enthusiasts on campus. Whether you're a seasoned builder, a redstone
engineer, or just someone who loves to explore, we welcome
you to join us!
Vanilla Survival Server (Crossplayable)
Our main server is a whitelisted vanilla survival server where members can build, explore, and collaborate in a friendly environment. The server supports both Java and Bedrock editions, allowing crossplay between different platforms.
Server IP (Java Edition): mason.sirblob.co
Server IP (Bedrock & Pocket Edition): bedrock.sirblob.co
Crossplay
This means players on Java Edition (PC) and Bedrock Edition (consoles, mobile, Windows) can all connect and play together in the same world! Just use the IP that matches your version of the game to join.
Join our Discord server to connect with fellow members, stay updated on events, and get involved in our community.

Community Rules
- BE CIVIL. Be nice to others. Let other people have opinions. Give people a second chance. Don't be a jerk. Don't harass, attack, or bother other players.
- KEEP IT SOMEWHAT CLASSY. Yes we're all college students, but be mature. No excessive profanity or gross humor. Don't be the one to make people uncomfortable.
- NO HATE. Racism, sexism, homophobia/transphobia, bullying, and everything in between are NOT permitted here.
- NO POLITICS. No discussion of any current or past real-world politics.
- NO NSFW CONTENT. No posts or links to anything featuring graphic violence, pornography, or anything illegal. Follow GMU's student code of conduct.
- NO CHEATING. This includes mods (performance mods like Optifine are fine), hacks, and x-ray resource packs.
- NO GRIEFING AND RAIDING. No breaking other player's builds, stealing, or trapping and killing players.
- LAG CONTROL. Avoid constructing massive contraptions or excessive farms that could significantly decrease server performance. Please include an off switch for complex redstone builds.
- KEEP IT LOCAL. These servers are meant for GMU students and their friends. You can share this with friends and family, but don't post the Discord link or server IP's publicly. Non-GMU players must be college-age and a friend/family member of a GMU student or alumnus.
